Jon Turner was part of a group of players to make the move up to Hull FC’s Academy squad from the Scholarship team ahead of the 2024 season.

He is a direct prop forward, and he played his junior Rugby League for a very successful Hull Wyke outfit.

Turner was the youngest player involved in Hull FC’s pre-season friendly with Bradford Bulls at Odsal in January 2024, with the fledgling front-rower catching the eye of first-team coaching staff.
