Ellis Opie moved up to Hull FC’s Academy squad ahead of the 2024 season, having caught the eye for the club’s Scholarship outfit.

Whilst Opie predominantly plays as a prop forward, he also has some nice ball-playing skills, lending himself to a role at loose forward from time to time.

He was part of a strong Hull Wyke team as a junior, with many of his old team mates currently playing alongside him for the Black & Whites.
