Like his Hull FC Academy team mate Harry Hunt, patience and perseverance has paid off for Eddie Nolan, who earned an Academy contract ahead of the start of the 2023 through impressing for the Sports College team.
The big, strong back-rower played his junior rugby league for local amateur side Hull Dockers – the same club that produced first-team young gun Matty Laidlaw, who also came through the Sports College.
