A crowd favourite, Mark Minichiello joined Hull FC ahead of the 2015 season from NRL side Gold Coast Titans.
He made an immediate impact for the Black and Whites, picking up the Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Year awards as well as sharing the Player of the Year award with teammate Liam Watts.
The 35-year-old is still at the peak of his powers, and conducts himself on and off the field with the utmost professionalism. He is explosive on his favoured left edge, and when he hits top gear he’s virtually unstoppable.
The younger brother to rugby league legend Anthony Minichiello, the second-row forward represented Italy at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
His second year in East Yorkshire saw the ex-Gold Coast forward named in the 2016 Super League Dream Team, after a series of potent displays.
