Hull FC acquired the services of Rochdale-born forward Jack Ashworth prior to the 2024 Betfred Super League campaign.

He has previously played in Super League with St Helens and Huddersfield Giants, winning a title with the former. Ashworth also spent a brief time on loan with Leigh in 2021.

A product of the St Helens youth academy, the England Knights representative has over 100 senior appearances under his belt, including almost 50 for the Saints between 2015 and 2020.

Ashworth plays as a prop forward, with a straightforward, old-school ball carrying mentality. He is also capable of playing in the second-row, where he featured more regularly earlier in his professional career.

He made his Hull FC debut in February 2024, coming off the bench in the Round One Derby clash with Hull KR.
