Hull FC signed Franklin Pele at the age of 22, with the powerful pack member joining the Black & Whites from NRL outfit Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, weighing 120kg, and with great leg speed, Pele is an extremely powerful forward.
He was first recognised in the UK in 2018 whilst playing for Australia Schoolboys against an England Academy side captained by Hull FC’s Cam Scott.
Although joining Hull from the Bulldogs, it was at Cronulla Sharks where Pele made his breakthrough back in 2021, leaving a good impression on former Hull FC forward turned coach Craig Fitzgibbon.
Pele’s Hull FC debut came in the Derby match against Hull KR at the MKM Stadium in February 2024.
