New Zealand international Fa’amanu Brown made a return to English soil when he signed for Hull FC ahead of the 2024 Betfred Super League season.

Brown cut his professional Rugby League teeth with Cronulla Sharks, before securing a move to Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

He was previously in England in 2021 when he represented Featherstone Rovers, with whom he lifted the 1895 Cup at Wembley.

After an impressive campaign in 2021, the halfback returned to the NRL and earned a call-up to the Samoa international squad for the World Cup, who eventually defeated England in the semi-final at the Emirates Stadium.

He switched allegiances to play for New Zealand’s international side in 2023.

Brown made his Hull FC debut in Round One of the 2024 Betfred Super League against Hull KR at the MKM Stadium.
