Whilst studying at the University of Hull, Will Witter joined Hull FC’s coaching team to assist as a Sports Scientist.

With previous experience of working in the sport with city rivals Hull KR, and Fiji at the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, he works with the first-team squad, providing useful data for the rest of the coaching team.

He does that using the GPS (global positioning system), technology fitted inside sports bras worn by players during training sessions or matches. Such data can help identify performance information, a useful tool for helping players develop and set targets.
