Hull FC welcomed Leanne McPherson back to the club ahead of the 2024 season, as she took a Lead Physiotherapist role with the Black & Whites, having previously worked with the Academy.

She has plenty of experience working in Rugby League, having previously taken up medical duties with Hunslet, Keighley Cougars, Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Trinity. She is also the Physiotherapist for the Wales National Rugby League team.

Covering a wide area, McPherson assesses, diagnoses, treats and rehabilitates players. She provides day-to-day medical management for players on training days and game days.
