Danny Blundell joined Hull FC’s coaching department late in 2023 ahead of the 2024 Betfred Super League season, coming in to take the role of Performance Analyst.

He arrived from Castleford Tigers, having previously also worked at Samoa’s National Rugby League team, and Wigan Warriors, where he celebrated a League Leaders’ Shield title in 2020.

In his role as Performance Analyst, Blundell prepares video footage of training sessions and matches to help players and coaches review plays – a major component of development.

From time to time, he will fly a drone above a training session to help ensure players are placed in the correct positions when practicing plays and shapes on the field.
