Having previously played Rugby Union, Ben McNamara made the cross-code transition to league and featured for Skirlaugh Bulls as a junior.
The halfback is the son of former Hull FC player and rugby league coach Steve McNamara.
A strong decision maker with a mature attitude, McNamara made his Super League debut for the Black & Whites in October 2020, scoring a try in a victory over Castleford Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
