Ruby Ellis caught the eye playing for Hull FC’s Girl’s team, which gave her the opportunity to move up to play with older players in the club’s Women’s team.

Having previously played junior Rugby League for West Hull and Hull KR, Ellis was also selected for the Central Yorkshire Under 16s Talent Hub in 2023.

She plays as a halfback, but she can also offer her services to the pack by taking up the loose-forward role.
