Ryan Westerman is a graduate of Hull FC’s Academy and Scholarship.

Although he played much of his Rugby League in the second-row for the Scholarship side, Westerman transitioned into the centre, possessing a lot of key attributes required in that position.

He made a try-scoring debut for Hull’s Academy in March 2023, and went on to feature in a play-off semi-final later that year.

The outside back has also made appearances for Hull FC’s Reserves outfit, proving his worth in open-age Rugby League.

He made his full Hull FC debut in the final game of the 2024 Betfred Super League season against Catalans Dragons.

In partnership with Hull FC Community Foundation, Ryan is a Players’ Project ambassador for the Rugby League Development department.
