Hull FC signed Oliver Holmes from Leigh Leopards ahead of the 2025 Betfred Super League campaign, arriving at the MKM Stadium alongside a handful of fellow former Leigh team mates.

The back-rower is most recognised in Super League for his exploits as a Castleford Tigers player, where he spent over a decade of his career.

But in more recent years, Holmes has represented Warrington Wolves and Leigh Leopards.

Holmes lifted a Challenge Cup title with Leigh in 2023, making it third time lucky at Wembley, having previously lost two Challenge Cup Finals with Castleford.
