Liam Watts’ Hull FC comeback was confirmed in March 2025, joining the Black & Whites on a deal until the end of the 2025 campaign.

Watts, a back-to-back Challenge Cup winner with Hull, departed the club early in the 2018 campaign. He then went on to play just shy of 150 games for Castleford Tigers, before departing the Mend-A-Hose Jungle just a couple of weeks into the 2025 season.

Hull snapped up the prop forward on a deal for the remainder of the 2025 campaign, as Watts re-joined the club for whom he made over 150 appearances for between 2012 and 2018.

As Rugby League veteran, Watts celebrated a Testimonial year in 2024, having reached the significant milestone of 300 senior appearances in the game.
