John Asiata joined Hull FC ahead of the 2025 Betfred Super League campaign, arriving at the MKM Stadium from Leigh Leopards.
The loose-forward’s career has ben packed with success, winning a Grand Final and World Club Challenge at North Queensland Cowboys, as well as lifting a Challenge Cup title and a 1895 Cup with Leigh.
Asiata is recognised as one of the strongest ball-playing thirteens in the competition, adding a different dimension to the Black & Whites’ spine.
He made his competitive debut for the club in a 52-6 win over York Acorn in Round 3 of the 2025 Challenge Cup, scoring a try as he captained the side to victory.
In partnership with Hull FC Community Foundation, John is a Players’ Project ambassador for Helping Homeless People.
