Up next, we welcome Leigh Leopards to the MKM Stadium as the club mark their annual Charity Match Day at the MKM Stadium, supporting local charity Hull & East Yorkshire Mind!

Hull take on Adrian Lam’s side in West Hull on Saturday 16th August (5.30pm), and will take to the field in their stunning 2025 Charity Jersey.

Founded in 1976, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has been supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing for almost half a century, and will celebrate their 50th birthday in 2026.

Mental health and wellbeing remains at the heart of everything HEY Mind do, and are committed to providing high quality, accessible, and person-centred support, with their services designed to be inclusive, non-judgmental, and confidential, ensuring that people feel safe and supported throughout their mental health journey.

Alongside supporting over local people with their mental health, HEY Mind works with the wider community and partners to change the way people think and act about mental health, to reduce the stigma and discrimination that many people still face – through their campaigns and events, including their charity partnership with the Black & Whites, HEY Mind aim to educate people about mental health, and support and empower those who are struggling to reach out and get the help they need and deserve.

HEY Mind supports over 25,000 local people every year with their mental health – that’s the capacity of the MKM Stadium, answering over 40,000 calls in 2024.

One in four people will experience a mental health problem each year in the UK.

Suicide remains the leading cause of death for men under the age of 50.

Rates of depression and anxiety are higher in Hull & East Yorkshire than the national average.
