Hull FC’s Women and Girls teams are recruiting new players ahead of the 2025 season.

The Women’s side will compete in the Women’s Championship this season after winning promotion in the League One Grand Final last season, and earlier this week announced a new structure for the Women & Girl’s rugby league programme.

The new structure aligns the Women’s & Girl’s Rugby League programmes with the club’s wider Youth Development pathway for the 2025 season, alongside the Men’s Academy and Scholarship programmes, and sees the appointment of Pete Grayburn as the Women’s new head coach.

Full details of the Women’s training schedule at the University of Hull can be found below:

  • Wednesdays | 7.00pm to 9.00pm
  • Saturdays | 10.00am – 12.30pm

Hull FC’s U16s and and U14s girls sides are also both recruiting new players for the 2025 season.

Hull FC’s Under 16s side will compete in the Premier Division this season, and the Under 14s side will be competing in the East Division.

A number of players have progressed from the Girl’s teams to Hull FC’s Women’s side over the last few years, but the club is moving to streamline this transition, allowing more talented young female players to make the step up to open age Rugby League.

As such, Lorien Pettit will become the club’s New Girl’s Rugby League Development Lead, working closely with Hull FC’s Head of Youth, Richard Tate.

Both teams train on Monday evenings at the University of Hull between 6.00pm and 7.00pm.
