A series of exciting match day activities have been announced for the Black & Whites opening home game of the 2025 season against reigning World Champions Wigan Warriors!
Over 10,000 tickets have already been sold for as the Black & Whites take on last season’s quadruple winners on Friday 21st February (8.00pm), in what will be our first game in West Hull under new head coach John Cartwright.
Supporters are making the most of our two unmissable ticket offers – ‘Kids Go Free’ and ‘Members Double’, with over 1,000 of these offer tickets already sold, helping to build an electric atmosphere under the lights against Matt Peet’s side.
In what will be an exciting match day, the club can confirm several exciting additions to our match day experience.
Pyrotechnics and a pre-match light show will help build the atmosphere around the ground before kick-off, under the Friday night lights.
Supporters in the South East corner of the stadium will also play their own special role in help building the atmosphere this season, with the introduction of giant fan flags – inspired by displays seen at stadiums including Anfield and St James’ Park featuring bespoke flag designs, over 50 flags will be available to collect by supporters ahead of kick-off, before returning them at the end of the game to be reused throughout the year.
Supporters will also be able to get their hands on some ‘Big Heads’ cut-outs around the ground, featuring the faces of our Black & White stars throughout the crowd.
Elsewhere, supporters will be treated to some live music on the pitch ahead of kick-off, with full details to be confirmed later this.
Our brand new half-time game will be introduced for the first-time – Summit Dive with Summit Drive.
Plenty more exciting activities will be confirmed over the coming weeks, including details of our pre-match Fan Zone.
‘Kids Go Free’ & ‘Members Double’ Ticket Info
Entry will be free for all junior supporters with our ‘Kids Go Free’ offer – these tickets are available for all supporters aged 16 or under across the ground, with co-owners Andrew Thirkill and David Hood OBE covering the cost of all of the junior tickets purchased as a thank you for the incredible support of our members over the off-season, having reached the 7,500 membership mark!
These tickets are available in store only from our MKM Stadium or St Stephen’s retail stores, and must be linked to an adult member or ticket purchaser – the offer is capped at six junior tickets per adult.
Junior tickets need to be sold to the guardian they will be attending the fixture with if the junior is under 14 years old.
This is an in-store exclusive offer – any junior tickets purchased online or over the phone will be priced at £5 per person.
Meanwhile, our 2025 members can also make the most of our ‘Members Double’ offer, meaning all members can pick up two additional tickets for just £10 (£5 per additional ticket).
Both ticket offers will be available until 5.00pm on Thursday 20th February – the day before the game.
Elsewhere across the MKM Stadium, unreserved seating in the East Stand is now completely sold out, while reserved seating in both the East and West Stand is close to capacity, with only single or front row seats available in some blocks – South Stand unreserved seating is also limited.
It will be the Black & White Army’s first chance to see some of the club’s new stars in action in West Hull for the very first time, including Jordan Rapana, John Asiata, Aidan Sezer, and Zak Hardaker.
There’ll be plenty of entertainment across the full matchday too, with live entertainment, pyrotechnics, and much more with full details to be revealed throughout this week.
