Hull FC can confirm that Denive Balmforth has joined Newcastle Thunder on loan.
The young hooker heads to the North East to join up with the Betfred Championship side ahead of their season opener away to Swinton Lions on Sunday afternoon.
The 19-year old is expected to be involved in this weekend’s action for Chris Thorman’s side.
The Black & Whites announced the Thunder as their new dual-registration partners for the 2023 season, with the agreement allowing the movement of players between the clubs to provide extra playing opportunities throughout the year, helping nurture the best young talents for both sides.
