The Black & Whites continued their unbeaten run at the start of the 2021 season, defeating Wakefield 20-14 at the KCOM Stadium.

A late try from Carlos Tuimavave saw Hull make it five games unbeaten, and seal their best start to a season since 2009.

In a game dominated by defence, Hull led until Mason Lino scored a breakaway try in the second-half, before the centre bagged the winning try.

The Match

The Black & Whites took the lead after just ten minutes with Andre Savelio crashing over from close range for the first score of the game. Sneyd was on target with the boot.

Hull extended their lead to eight points less than 10 minutes before the break, with a Sneyd penalty in front of the sticks.
