Hull FC are proud to announce that Atropa Pharmacy will continue as the club’s primary club partners for the next three years!

The fast-growing pharmaceuticals company, based in East Yorkshire, have agreed a significant extension to their commercial partnership with the Black and Whites, which will again include their company name and logo appearing on the club’s official Principal and Alternate jerseys until 2023.

Atropa Pharmacy offer a number of services, including national door-to-door online prescription delivery to patients all across the UK, including FREE delivery to all Black & Whites members.

They also provide a variety of clinical functions to private patients and companies, which has recently expanded with the launch of their new-look ‘Blood Clinic, by Atropa’ which will also feature on the club’s shirts in 2021.

Atropa have been playing a critical part in the primary care response to the Covid-19 pandemic, providing direct services for care homes, supporting the NHS with pharmaceutical services and also delivering daily Covid-19 antigen testing.

To help tackle the challenge faced by Coronavirus, Atropa can now also offer same-day Covid-19 tests for patients, as well as prioritising services for key workers.

As part of the partnership, which also sees them sponsor rising star Jordan Johnstone, their state-of-the-art testing services have also been put to good use by the club’s performance staff, including regular blood tests and assessments of the players to help guide individual performance programmes and improve results.

Established in 2013, Atropa Pharmacy have quickly grown from a local pharmacy to a national provider and are one of the fastest growing businesses in a region that already boasts a strong medical and pharmaceutical sector.

In 2018, they relocated to new purpose-built premises in Hull just a stone’s throw from the club’s first-team training ground, whilst establishing an online presence on a national scale.

Bryn Smales, Company Director at Atropa Pharmacy commented: “We’re really excited to be extending our partnership with the Black & Whites by three more years.

“The association with a top-level sports club like Hull FC is a great way for us to push our health message and encourage people to continue to look after themselves, both physically and mentally, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”

With Atropa’s new ‘Blood Clinic’ featuring on the club’s 2021 jerseys, Mr Smales added: “We’ve introduced ‘Blood Clinic’ to help try and speed up the waiting times for people trying to get treatment.

“To have ‘Blood Clinic on the back of the shirt is fantastic for us, and I can safely say having seen a sneak preview of the new jerseys that they look fantastic, with the new logo featuring on the upper back!”

Atropa are one of a number of partners to pledge their support to the club, including the likes of Jacuzzi® who were recently extended their relationship as Hull FC’s elite performance partner.

Hull FC Chief Executive James Clark is delighted with the progress being made, particularly considering the unprecedented challenges faced by Covid-19, with the club extremely grateful for the support of their key partners.

He said: “This last few months has been a major challenge for us which we are navigating with the incredible loyalty and solidarity of our staff, members and corporate partners – the unity at the club has never felt stronger.

“The continued support of partners like Atropa has been integral to the stability of the club and Bryn, Kayley and the team have continually gone above and beyond in their support this season.

“They have been exceptional to work with, embracing the true spirit and definition of a genuine partnership, rather than just a sponsorship arrangement and they have done it with real passion and gratitude.

“They are as eager for the club to succeed as we are and to have their support for the next three years is an incredible show of their commitment and loyalty – they have been a pleasure to work with and have around the club in recent months.”

A key part of the partnership will be working with the club to push health awareness to Black & Whites supporters, as well as working in the local community with the Hull FC Foundation.

Atropa are also offering FREE prescription deliveries to Hull FC members, as well as a host of other useful services.
