Andy Last has named his 21-man squad for Thursday’s Hull Derby clash against Hull Kingston Rovers, brought to you in association with Jadan Press.

The Black & Whites travel to the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens to face the Robins in the final derby clash of the season, with FC holding the bragging rights going into the clash having defeated Tony Smith’s side back in February.

And Last is able to welcome back several key stars into the squad from the side that was named ahead of the Airlie Bird’s victory over Castleford Tigers at the KCOM Stadium earlier this month.

Scott Taylor is recalled, while Josh Jones is named in the 21-man squad for the first time since the club’s Covid-19 outbreak in August. Back-rower Jordan Lane also returns following an impressive month in September.

The trio replace Jamie Shaul (knee), Albert Kelly (hamstring) and Masi Matongo.

The club confirmed yesterday that full-back Shaul would be out of action for a prolonged period of time due to a serious knee injury sustained in the victory over Castleford, including a ruptured ACL which requires surgery.

Jake Connor is in line to make his 100th club appearance in the game, while Manu Ma’u, Joe Cator and Jack Brown could all make their first Hull Derby appearance for the club.

Hull also remain without the services of Adam Swift, Kieran Buchanan and Gareth Ellis.
