Up next, the Black & Whites are back in Coral Challenge Cup action once again as they take on Wigan Warriors in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Hull will meet their old cup foes once again at the AJ Bell on Saturday 19th September (5.00pm) for a spot in the semi-finals.

The sides that met in the famous 1985 Challenge Cup Final, as well as in another classic encounter back in 2017 when the Airlie Birds’ got their second consecutive Wembley win, the tie is set to be another classic between two of the cup’s most historic sides.

Andy Last’s side booked their spot in the fixture courtesy of an impressive effort against Castleford Tigers at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

A brace from Carlos Tuimavave helped Hull on their way to a 29-16 win, on the day he put pen to paper on a new four year deal with the club.

Black & White fans will be able to watch the action live on Saturday as part of a thrilling double-header live on the BBC.

St Helens face Warrington at 2.30pm, with the game live on BBC One before Hull face the Warriors from 5.00pm on BBC Two, with coverage of the Black & Whites’ game beginning at 4.30pm.
