Hull FC have been drawn to face Castleford Tigers in the Sixth Round of the Coral Challenge Cup.

The Black & Whites were drawn out of the hat to face the West Yorkshire side earlier this evening, as one of two Sixth Round clashed in a restructured competition for 2020, following the withdrawal of the Betfred Championship & League One sides, plus Toronto Wolfpack.

Hull will take on the Tigers as part of a double-header at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday 22nd August, with Catalans set to face Wakefield in the other Sixth Round clash.

Both games will be shown live on the BBC, with further details including kick-off time set to be announced in due course.

FC defeated the Tigers on their way to their most recent Challenge Cup success back in 2017 with a memorable Quarter-Final victory at the KCOM Stadium, while also defeating Daryl Powell’s side at the Sixth Round stage of last season’s competition at home too.

Should the Black & Whites progress past Castleford at the Sixth Round stage, they will face Wigan Warriors in the Quarter-Finals.

Hull/Castleford have been drawn as the home side for that fixture, which will be played over the weekend of the 18-20 September.
