A Hull-born academy product, Dean Hadley’s influential performances in 2016 earned him the iconic number 11 jersey for 2017 – a shirt worn previously by the likes of Shayne McMenemy, Willie Manu, Lee Radford and Gareth Ellis.
He signed his first professional contract for the Black and Whites before the 2013 season, and made his debut that year against Catalans Dragons.
Primarily a back-row forward, he can operate in a number of positions and always goes about his business professionally and consistently.
He plays with great energy, hits good lines and is defensively reliable.
Radford first coached Hadley in the reserve squad and later tied him down to a three-year contract, keeping him at the club until the end of 2019.
