Home-grown talent Chris Green made his senior Hull FC debut in 2012.
Tall and athletic, the front-rower looked poised to turn his back on the professional game at the age of 19 when he returned to the local amateur league but was offered another opportunity by the Black and Whites which he took with both hands.
He is perhaps best known for his match-winning try against Hull KR at Magic Weekend 2013, writing his name in Hull FC folklore in the process.
An international with England Knights, Green established himself as a first-team regular for the Airlie Birds over the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
The Hull-born prop pairs a strong defensive game with consistent meter-making in an all-round industrious playing-style, a style that saw him become a regular in Hull’s Challenge Cup winning season of 2016.
