Having only taken up Rugby League at the late age of 14 years old, Callum Lancaster made his senior debut at just 17 at Headingley.
A winger blessed with electrifying pace, he scored eight tries in his first five Super League appearances for the Black and Whites, including back-to-back hat-tricks against Widnes and Warrington.
Lancaster has gone on to feature on a number of occasions under head coach Lee Radford, and scored on his only appearance of 2015 at Wigan Warriors.
He has represented England at academy level and starred for the Airlie Birds Under 23s side in 2016 – scoring 19 tries. He also made one first team appearance at home to Warrington on Easter Monday.
One of a number of local youngsters with bags of potential at the club, Lancaster is certainly one to look out for in the future.
