GENTLE NAMES UNCHANGED SQUAD FOR GIANTS CLASH
By Matt Holden | Saturday, 7 April 2012
Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has named an unchanged squad for Easter Monday’s top of the table clash with Huddersfield Giants at the Galpharm Stadium.
The two teams enter the game sitting first and second on the Super League ladder and Gentle is set to keep faith with the same players who earned a stunning 36-6 victory over Hull KR yesterday.
It means assistant coach Lee Radford looks set to make his second appearance for the Black and Whites in the space of four days after coming out of retirement, while former Leeds Rhino Jay Pitts is in line for just his second game for the club after an impressive debut in the traditional Good Friday derby.
However, with Gentle set to assess his squad when they report for tomorrow, and with Richard Horne considered doubtful after leaving the field with a leg injury against Hull KR, youngsters Danny Nicklas and Liam Kent could force their way into the Hull side to face the Giants after retaining their places in the 19-man squad.
Hull FC squad: Aspinwall, Briscoe, Bowden, Ellis, Horne, Houghton, Kent, Lynch, Manu, McKinnon, Nicklas, Pitts, Radford, Seymour, Sharp, Tickle, Turner, Whiting, Yeaman
