Hull FC’s Development Academy made it back-to-back victories on the road as they beat Salford Red Devils’ side yesterday afternoon.
The Hull F.C. Development Academy in Partnership with Bishop Burton College recorded a 10 - 28 success over Salford Red Devil’s Development Academy at the AJ Bell Stadium on Wednesday in the College Rugby League Premier Division.
Lewis Sellars, Connor Gilbey and Jack Brunt crossed in the first half with Davy Litten adding one successful conversion meaning the visitors led 10 - 14.
The second half resulted in three further tries from Jack Wallis, Finlay Taylor and Davy Litten with Davy Litten also adding his second conversion of the day. There was no points scored from the hosts during this period due to some heroic defence from the visitors from East Yorkshire.
Head Coach Rob Wilson commented after the game:
“I’m very happy with how the boys are coming along. They are training and playing with a lot of enthusiasm and their attitude has been fantastic.
“Harry Trulson and Ewan Badham stood out for us in the engine room and Finley Taylor, Will Kirkup and Abdullah Balogun stood out in the backs today.”
Next Wednesday 16 October, Hull F.C. Development Academy in Partnership with Bishop Burton College host Huddersfield Giants Development Academy.
