Hull FC’s annual Junior Takeover will return for the upcoming Betfred Super League fixture against Salford Red Devils, with young members of the Black & White community taking over the club for the day!

Ten lucky junior members will team up with members of the club’s match day staff to get a once-in-a-lifetime behind the scenes look at how the club is run on a home match day at the game against the Devils on Saturday 17th August (5.00pm).

Youngsters will get the exclusive opportunity to work in some of the key jobs that keep the Airlie Birds ticking over before, during and after a match.

Roles vary from head coach, to pitch announcer, to photographer, with the experience helping inspire youngsters about a career in professional sport off the pitch in the ever-growing sports industry.

As well as getting the chance to take part in a Junior Board Meeting ahead of the game with Chief Executive James Clark, and a tour of the KCOM Stadium, the ten lucky participants will also be invited into the Players’ Lounge after the game to meet the first-team squad, and watch the players in training before the big match!

Our Junior Takeover is just one part of a bumper match day, with our massive West Park fan park also returning for this game, while all junior tickets are reduced to just to £5 to ensure all younger members can enjoy some thrilling Betfred Super League action during the summer holiday!

Head Coach

One of the most popular positions in Junior Takeover, our junior head coach will get the chance to catch up with head coach Lee Radford ahead of the match and discuss his tactics as Hull aim to beat the Devils! Join the coaching staff out on the pitch for the pre-match warm-ups, and team-up with the coach to face the press in the post-match press conference! Better still, our junior head coach will be invited to the Elite Performance Centre to catch up with the boys in training ahead of the match!

Pitch Announcer

Enjoy an unforgettable pitch-side experience by taking to the stadium microphone as our junior pitch announcer! Read the team-sheets pre-match, belt out our try-scorers, and enjoy the game from the Director’s Box!

Media Manager

Fancy yourself as a talented writer? Work with the club’s media manager and produce your own match report, watching the action from the top of the West Stand in our press box! You’ll also get the chance to deliver the team-sheets before the match, chat to Lee Radford after the match to get his thoughts on the performance! Your report will even be published on the club’s official website!

Hull FC Live Commentator

Think you could be the next Eddie Hemmings or Martin Tyler? Team up with our Hull FC Live match day commentator and a member of the first-team squad to join in the live coverage of the game from the press benches and offer your opinions to BBC Radio Humberside in the build up to the game.

Chief Executive & Chairman

Our Chief Executive and Chairman will play a key role on the match day. As well as enjoying the game from the Director’s Box, you’ll help shape how the club looks going forward, providing your thoughts and ideas for our new kits for next season

For those who have a passion for photography, this is the role for you! Capture the moment as the match day experience passes you by, with the successful applicant given their own personal camera for the game and a published gallery on the club’s website after the match. Spend time with the official club photographer and learn new techniques pitchside with your camera in hand!

A new role for 2019, our videographer will team up with our match day camera man, getting exclusive behind-the-scenes footage around the KCOM Stadium and capturing the action both on and off the field. Follow the boys as they enter the ground, and then onto the pitch during the warm-up. Capture footage around the game and it will be made into your own video package!

Kit Assistant

Hanging up the kit isn’t the only task in this role! There’s plenty of responsibilities for this role, with one lucky applicant getting an exclusive experience inside the KCOM Stadium, able to look after all of the team’s equipment, including balls and water, and print some of the playing jerseys. The kit man will also run the kicking tee onto the pitch! As a souvenir for their role, the kit man will be able to keep a match worn shirt from the player of their choice!

Assistant Referee

Take in the behind-the-scenes experience at the KCOM Stadium from a different perspective and join the referees for the coin toss, team sheet handover and walk on the match ball as the teams make their way onto the pitch. Our junior referee will also help out with the interchanges, warm-up with the referees and even get their own referees jersey to keep!

Become a member of Airlie’s Angels for the day as one of the club’s cheerleaders! You’ll take part in the half-time routine with the girls as well as welcoming the sides onto the field too!
