Match Report: Hull KR 18-10 Hull FC
The Black & Whites fell to Derby defeat at the hands of Hull Kingston Rovers in a scrappy encounter at KCOM Craven Park, going down 18-10.
Hull led early on through Bureta Faraimo, before scores from Ben Crooks and Joel Tomkins had the hosts ahead.
FC hit back through Andre Savelio in the second-half, but debutante Matt Parcell made sure of the two-points in the final minutes.

Hull welcomed back Carlos Tuimavave after a length lay-off with a Achilles injury left him out of action since Easter.
Meanwhile, Mark Minichiello came back into the side for his 400th career appearance, while Albert Kelly missed out.
The Black & Whites opened the scoring in the ninth minute, with Marc Sneyd creating a perfect opportunity for Bureta Faraimo to score in the corner. His pin-point accurate chip into the corner was collected by the winger who dived over with ease in the corner. Sneyd added the extras.
Hull looked certain of adding a second early score after Jake Connor’s 40/20 kick, but it was the Robins who got themselves on the score-sheet. A break down the right edge from Adam Quinlan saw him race past Sneyd, and his grubber inside was collected by Ben Crooks who touched down.
FC continued to threaten with chances for Bureta Faraimo either side of the 20 minutes mark, but the winger was brought back on both occasions for a knock-on, and then crossing.
Rovers had thought they had gone further ahead with 15 minutes left in the half when Craig Hall patted a ball back infield for Crooks to touch down, however the video referee deemed Hall to have had a foot outside the field of play.
Hull had their chances to take their lead, but couldn’t take them. A quick move to the right looked as if Jake Connor had sent in Sika Manu for a certain try, but the back-rower couldn’t keep hold of the ball when attacking the line.
HALF-TIME: Hull KR 6-6 Hull FC
Rovers started the second-half the more dominant team having the vast majority of possession in the opening ten minutes. And Tony Smith’s side took the lead with their second score of the game through Joel Tomkins who got on the end of a short Josh Drinkwater grubber into the Hull in-goal area.
After absorbing 15 minutes of pressure on the Robins line, Hull finally got their chance and took it in the Rovers half. Faraimo’s break was rewarded as Andre Savelio found a gap and raced over. Sneyd missed the goal and Rovers stayed ahead on the scoreboard.
The Robins though would seal the victory in the final seconds with Matt Parcell diving over from close range on his debut for the club.
