Hullfc.com sat down with Mark Leak, Managing Director of Sports Events Services, to discuss the company’s relationship with the Black & Whites as this week’s sponsor in focus.

What’s your relationship with the Black & Whites?

I’ve always been a Hull FC fan, and then quite a few years ago my daughters suggested that I should get a box - that quickly led into sponsoring Chirs Green. I also do pitch-side advertising and my company is also the sock sponsor in 2019.

It’s special to be involved with the club you support - I don’t do it to earn more business of the back of it, I do it to put something back into the club I love.

How much do you enjoy being involved with the club you support?

I go with my two girls and my wife and a couple of friends, and we absolutely love coming to home games. We get to meet the players before and after and we just really enjoy being involved!

The only issue is that the nature of my work means that I’m out of the country a lot, and therefore don’t get to see every match

Tell me a bit about Sports Events Services.

I’m the Managing Director of SES, which was formed 18 years ago and based in Dunswell. There is a team of eight of us that travel the world producing live television broadcasts for the Professional Darts Corporation.
