Lee Radford has named a 26-man squad for Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Wakefield Trinity, including a handful of first-team stars!
Danny Washbrook, who will celebrate his testimonial match against his former club, will be joined on the field by a number of senior colleagues, including club captain Danny Houghton.
England star Jake Connor could feature for the Black & Whites for the first time since returning from international camp, whilst Albert Kelly, Jamie Shaul, Scott Taylor, Mickey Paea and Bureta Faraimo may also get some game time.
Jordan Thompson could make his first appearance since returning to the club and new signing Matthew Dawson-Jones will make his debut.
Fellow new recruits Danny Langtree and Levy Nzoungou both scored on debut in last Sunday’s friendly against Doncaster and the pair are named again in the squad to face Trinity this weekend.
The core of the scored will once again feature a number of the club’s upcoming players, including a number of recent academy graduates.
