Forward Trio Back for Leeds

Lee Radford welcomes back Sika Manu, Mark Minichiello and Dean Hadley to face Leeds Rhinos on Thursday.

Lee Radford has welcomed back the forward trio of Sika Manu, Mark Minichiello and Dean Hadley to his squad to face Leeds Rhinos at the KCOM Stadium on Thursday evening (7.45pm kick-off)

Manu picked up a calf injury in the reverse fixture against Leeds last month and is set to make his return to the squad against the Rhinos, along with Minichiello and Hadley, who have also missed a number of games through injuries they sustained either side of the Easter period.

The trio take the places of Danny Washbrook, Jordan Abdull and Jack Downs in the 19-man squad

In-form winger Fetuli Talanoa will look to continue his try-scoring record that makes him Super League’s top try scorer so far this season.

His centre partner Carlos Tuimavave was initially named in the squad to face Widnes Vikings last Thursday but was withdrawn in the warm-up. The former New Zealand Warriors outside back is set to face Leeds this Thursday after being named in Radford’s squad to face the current Super League champions.

Masi Matongo scored his first Super League try in the victory against the Vikings last time out. He’s been included in the squad alongside fellow youngster Jez Litten, who has impressed in spells out of dummy half.
