To celebrate the start of another new Super League season and the launch of Hull FC’s brand new match day console, ‘Hull FC-Live’ will see two Black and Whites legends reunited.
For Saturday’s game against St.Helens, regular commentator David Doyle-Davidson, one of the most synonymous names with Hull FC, is back once again in 2010 as he enters his 30th year of covering FC in the media.
Before that, he also had spells as a player and a coach at the club and his highly regarded as Mr Hull FC!
However, this weekend, joining DDD will be the just as famous Johnny Whiteley MBE as summariser.
The former Hull FC and Great Britain star will be on hand to cast his expert eye over proceedings and he certainly has the pedigree to justify such a role.
He made over 400 appearances for Hull, bagging over 150 tries in the process and never being dropped from the side.
He subsequently went on to captain the Airlie Birds and then became player coach, as well as having a similar career path internationally with Great Britain.
Both DDD and Mr Whiteley are true Hull FC legends and it is an opportunity not to be missed as both provide their expert views from behind the microphone this weekend.
You can listen to both legends covering the game at St.Helens this Saturday by clicking on the brand new ‘Hull FC-Live’ Match console from 4:45pm (see tab in top right hand corner of website) or by tuning in to KCFM99.8 (99.8fm) from 5pm.
It’s Hull FC-Live with James Clark, David Doyle-Davidson and Johnny Whiteley, this Saturday from 5pm.
