A former Yorkshire representative and England Academy international, Liam Kent is another of the club’s highly rated youngsters who has been around the first team environment for a number of years.
Restricted to a solitary appearance in 2013 when starring in a narrow victory over Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium, Kent was the victim of strong competition for places in the Hull FC pack in Super League XVIII after missing the opening third of the season with a shoulder injury.
Back to full fitness and determined to catch the eye of Lee Radford, himself a back row forward in his playing days, Kent will be eager to make his mark on Super League and earn a new contract at his home-town club.

Currently on loan at Featherstone.

LAST: POORLY CONCEDED TRIES COST US THE GAME

Assistant coach Andy Last admitted his disappointment at seeing a hard-earned 14-12 lead against Castleford slip as poor tries and injuries saw the Airlie Birds miss out on consecutive wins.
