WATTS SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION AT THE CLUB

Hull FC prop Liam Watts has extended his stay with
the club for a further three years, after agreeing a new deal until the end of

in 2012, the 24-year has developed into a fearsome and hard running prop
forward, becoming one of Lee Radford’s most consistent first team players.
Watts has appeared in the Super League 47 times for
the Black and Whites, competing for a spot this year alongside the likes of
Chris Green, Josh Bowden, Mickey Paea and Feka Paleaaesina.

against Wigan Warriors at the DW Stadium two weeks ago, as well as four try
assists, Watts has shown he has creative abilities to accompany the physical
side to his game which has seen make over 400 tackles and 1288 metres this
His efforts have earned him a further three years
at the club, and the young prop forward is delighted to have been able to
secure his future with the Airlie Birds.
He said: “I am over the moon to be able to sign a
new contract at the club, I was obviously looking to tie down my future down
and I’m really glad that it’s going to be here.
“I want to be a part of what is going to be
happening over the next couple of years at the club. I’m really looking forward
to getting stuck in there with the lads for the rest of the year and finishing
on a high note.
“We have got something good growing here with a
solid group of lads, and it is also clear to see the intent we have next year
with the signings of Leon Pryce and Marc Sneyd so I feel we are moving in the

“To have been given the opportunity to come to Hull
in the first place, which is obviously a massive club with big aspirations was
extremely pleasing, and when I first signed I was keen to be a part of those
long term goals.

to helping the club achieve those targets.”
