TEAMS UNVEILED FOR GAMESHOW OF GAMESHOWS!

By James Baldwin | 25/06/2014
The line-ups have been announced for “They Think It’s A Question of 8 Out of 10 Airlie Birds”, the game show supporting the RW14 Testimonial Event on Tuesday 1 July, which will now take place at the KC Stadium.

The event, which forms part of the club's Hull&Proud Week, will now take place in the Kingston Suite at the KC Stadium, rather than the Hull Truck Theatre as initially advertised due to ticket demands.

Richard Whiting's players team featuring Feka Paleaaesina, Tom Lineham, and Jordan Rankin will come up against a coaches team led by Lee Radford, and an ex-players team led by Shaun Briscoe and Danny Washbrook.

The event is certain to provide laughs aplenty while testing the wits of those involved, with the evening featuring a number of different rounds from a combination of famous television shows includingNever Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You?, A Question of Sport, They Think It's All Over and many more.

Tickets for the evening can still be purchased for just £6 by clicking here or from the KC Stadium retail store.

Players, staff, and club legends will take part in the event arranged for the fifth day of Hull&Proud Week, with all rounds in the quiz having a special Black and White edge for those looking to prove they know everything there is to know about our great club.

The night is set to honour Black and Whites legend Richard Whiting, who is one of Hull FC’s longest-serving players having made over 200 appearances for the club since joining from Featherstone Rovers 11 years ago.

In that time, the popular 29-year-old has amassed over 350 points for the Airlie Birds, while also winning the Supporters’ Player of the Year Award on three occasions since making his professional debut in 2004.

After giving a decade of service to the Black and Whites, the evening marks a perfect way for fans to show their appreciation for the great man while enjoying what is likely to be one the most amusing events of Hull&Proud Week.

Hull&Proud Week has been designed as a way of celebrating Hull FC, its loyal supporters, and the area more generally.

Other exciting activities set to take place during Hull&Proud Week include the Hull FC Golf Day, and the Hull FC Burger Challenge at Handmade Burger.

Those events will lead into the ‘BIG Night Out’ on Friday 4 July, where fans will be able to enjoy a live music stage and festival in West Park ahead of Hull FC facing Warrington Wolves at the KC Stadium.

Tickets for the 'Big Night Out' are now on general sale, and can be purchased by visiting the KC Stadium ticket office or the TryPod outside St. Stephen's, or by calling on 01482 505 600.

Unfortunately, the bus pull arranged as part of the Humber Half Marathon on Sunday has been postponed due to the ongoing roadworks on the bridge.
